During the second half Henry Leech got the ball in space on the half way line, chipped over the line and gathered it before running between the posts. Again Glen Penlington made the conversion bringing it up to 14 - 10 and putting the home side in front. The visitors then gave away two penalties, both successfully kicked by Glen making it 20 - 10. which glen took 20 -10. Late in the game, strong work from the Trefy back row dislodged the ball and Nick Davies pounced on it. He accelerated away from the opposition and ran in a 75 metre try under the posts in the final act of the match. Again converted, making the final score 27 - 10.
Post-match, manager George Morgan praised the team for their ‘never die attitude’. Man of the match was Henry Leech.
